Getting started with Facebook

Facebook doesn’t take much introducing as one of the most well known social networking sites, but what may be confusing initially is the difference between a Facebook profile, group and page.

Profile: This is for an individual account.

Group: This a space you can create a community.

Pages: This can be for an individual who wishes to create a fan base or for non-human entities such as an organisation, a company, products or campaigns.

To set up an account you will need to go to http://www.facebook.com.
