Vine is a new way to share video. This free app (currently only available for iPhone and iPod Touch) allows the user to record and then embed a 6 second video directly in a tweet. You can choose to record one scene by holding your finger down on the screen or several scenes by releasing the pressure and re-applying to start recording again. You could also create a mini stop motion scene movie by moving the subject you want to record slightly in the same manner the original cartoons were created. Vine also captures audio.
Once you’ve create your vine you can then choose to simply save it or share with the world! The cynics thought 140 characters would be of little value and how wrong they were. It will be interesting to see how creative people get with 6 seconds!
Below are some examples of how it Vine is being used from the fun to the more serious.

Other ways to explore vines
These sites were quick off the mark and provide a constant stream of randomly displayed Vines. Plenty of opportunity to lose track albeit only 6 seconds at a time!
Reblogged this on totallyrewired.
I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is required to get set up? I’m
assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very web smart so I’m not 100% positive.
Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
